Pre-release privacy notice

GovLayer is an independent pre-release software project. This website collects limited information from people who request pre-release access so we can understand demand, prioritise connectors and contact interested users.

What we collect

The signup form may collect your email address, company or project name, role, expected usage, selected areas of interest, use-case notes, UTM/referrer information, page path, timezone and submission timestamp.

Why we collect it

We use this information to manage the GovLayer pre-release list, understand which connectors are most valuable, contact you about early access and improve the product positioning.

Analytics

The included site code can send privacy-light page and section interest events to the optional Firebase backend. It does not require cookies. Do Not Track browser settings are respected by the front-end event tracker.

Government data disclaimer

GovLayer is not an official government service. It does not imply endorsement by any government department or public body. Any future product should preserve source attribution, provenance and applicable data licences.
